Processing, Shipping, Arrival

Our never frozen, custom-cut fresh product orders are processed and shipped the same day if ordered before 2 p.m. EST.  All orders will be packaged with care, strapped, and shipped UPS Next Day Air.  Once you receive your order, it is extremely important to unwrap, inspect and immediately refrigerate your order. Fresh fish should be consumed within 3 days of receiving your order.  Frozen items should be stored directly in your freezer until time of use, and sundry items can be stored directly in your pantry.

Shipping Days and Holidays

Shipping is only available within the Continental United States.

Next day shipping is available Monday –Thursday, but orders must be placed by 2 p.m. EST.

Holiday Shipping: 

We are closed on all major holidays; shipping will immediately continue after the holiday season unless otherwise noted.  Thanksgiving shipping will only be for orders placed on November 25th and 26th 2019.  Orders will resume processing on Monday December 2nd 2019.  The week of December 25th we will only be processing orders on Monday December 23rd 2019.  Will resume on December 26th,  New Years we will be shipping on Monday December 30th for New Years Eve arrival.  Orders will return to normal shipping Thursday January 2nd 2020. Please also note that shipments will not be delivered on major holidays and that holiday deliveries may be delayed, due to increased volume, order your frozen product early to beat the rush.

All shipping companies have a current “Act of God” clause to recognize that weather delays will arise and may cause problems. We pack products to last, however once the product leaves our plant we are not responsible for the order.

I just placed my order, how do I know if my order was received?

Once your order is placed, you will receive an order confirmation email. This email will contain a receipt of your order, order confirmation number and shipping information.  

Do I have to register on the website to place an order?

No, you do not have to register to place an order. When you are checking out all you have to do is select guest at checkout and you may continue. Registering on our website does make shopping easier. Becoming a member allows you to store your information in our system so you do not have to re-enter your information each time you purchase a product.

How can I purchase a gift certificate? 

You can purchase gift certificates here on our website and redeem online.
  

How are the products shipped? What type of packaging do you use?

Our goal is for every King Tide product to arrive in the best condition. We pack all frozen and fresh products in heat-resistant cooler box with ice packs to ensure all items are in perfect condition during the entire shipping and delivery process.
 

Can I order fresh, dry and frozen products together?

Yes, we pack dry goods around the other packing materials in a secure container. 
 

Will the fish I order contain bones? 

All marketable fish on this site contain bones.  However, we do our very best to insure the product is sent without bones.  Some fish, such as Lake Erie Yellow Perch, comes to you with a light row of bones, or pin bones that dissolves during the cooking process but not always guaranteed.
