- Cooking Methods: Found along the Atlantic coast, Jonah Crab is cooked directly after harvest to preserve the freshness. Jonah crab can served hot or cold and require minimal work in the process. If you prefer to serve your jonah crab claws cold, we suggest just a fresh squueze of lemon and cocktail sauce on the side. If you are serving them warm as an entree, we suggest boiling or steam the claws and serving a warm sauce of butter, lemon and herbs over the warm cracked claws. The Jonah meat can also be used in almost any recipe that calls for crab meat, including soups, stews, dips, stuffings and crab puffs and cakes.
