• Cooking Methods: Walleye is high regarded as the best fresh water tasting fish, and is also loved by most for its versatility in the kitchen. Walleyes flavor is something you don't want to cover up, so we suggest keeping it simple and using very minimal or light sauces, seasonings and marinades. Our personal favorite preparation method is frying, however other recommendations include baking, broiling, sauteing, poaching or grilling.

Due to seasonal availability, all walleye will be packed fresh when available. Should we not have fresh selections available, we will substitute your order with a frozen, IQF walleye fillet.  Please note: this fish comes to you with a light row of bones, or pin bones that dissolves during the cooking process but not always guaranteed.
